PATRICK LONG of the United Way was the guest speaker at the recent Lions Club meeting. Long, who serves as vice president for community impact, is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the United Way and working with the community and other stakeholders to determine the distribution of United Way’s $1.9 million. The United Way goal is to advance the quality of life in the community. Long, who is a Lee University graduate, and his wife, Chelsea, have lived in Cleveland for seven years.
