He was retired from Maytag with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen W. Sivells; brother, George D. Sivells; and a stepson, Jeff Ledford.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Sivells; his mother, Alene Sivells of Elkton Ky.; stepchildren: Tammy Ledford and Robin Bailey, both of Cleveland, and Billy Ledford of Ocoee; six stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Ronnie Sivells of Griffin, Ga., and Donald Sivells of Murfreesboro; one sister, Judy Francis of Elkton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Alan Burnett and the Revs. John Smith and Sawyer Banks officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brandon Tankersley, Brandon Raines, David Ledford, Billy Ledford, Dale Maxwell and Jacob Bailey serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
