Take a country drive. That’s what the new owners of this home will experience daily.

The drive to this neighborhood is one of many features of the Home of the Week.

D&S Custom Homes were builders of this beautiful dwelling, which was constructed on a pretty lot in Covenant Hills.

Stacked stone and Hardie planking were used on the face of this dwelling and durable and easy to care for vinyl was used as soffit and trim around the exterior.

The front yard has also been landscaped and grass sown. Springtime is just around the corner and the grass will be fresh and green, complementing this new home.

According to Cindi Richardson, this house is so fresh, it was just placed on the market a few days ago.

Richardson is the listing agent for this “Home of the Week.”

Sidewalks lead to the front door from the concrete drive and two-car garage. The home has more than 2,600 square feet of living space.

Beautiful, rich hardwood flooring was used in the foyer, main living area and dining room. Wide casings showcase the custom paint colors.

The main living area has a cathedral ceiling and gas-log fireplace, which has been neatly finished with a mantel, hearth and built-in bookcases.

The formal dining room has wainscoting as well as a chandelier.

Nearby in the large kitchen, rich, solid-wood cabinetry and granite countertops were utilized.

The new owners will get plenty of use with the double stainless steel and energy-efficient ovens.

Accent lighting was placed throughout the kitchen as well as in other areas of the home, such as the great room.

The home also has an area for a breakfast nook and a large, spacious wooden deck constructed on the rear of the house.

Larger furnishings can be used in this spacious area.

The master bedroom features a “specialty” ceiling design. It was double-trayed, adding height and depth.

A master walk-in closet is very spacious with modern storage and hanging amenities.

The master bath features a custom shower and whirlpool garden tub. The counter space was doubled with his-and-hers lavatories. Tile was used in the bath area and carpeting placed in the master bedroom area.

The other bedrooms also have carpeting. This house features three bedrooms and two full baths on the main level, and another full bath and bedroom near the bonus area, which was designed in the downstairs portion of the home.

The home also has energy-efficient features, such as ceiling fans, central heat and air and energy-efficient appliances as well as insulated vinyl windows.

A central smoke alarm system has also been installed.

Covenant Hills is located in northeast Bradley County and can be reached by traveling east on Benton Pike past Chatata Valley Golf Course.

This featured home is listed for $279,900.

An open house is planned Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. For additional information, contact Richardson at 280-1442, or visit http://cindirichardson.crye-leike.com.
