He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Whittemore Hepler.
Survivors include his daughter, Sherrie Howard; grandchildren of Cleveland, Ga.; brother, Vernon Hepler; and sisters: Wanda Whitt and Dorothy Collins all of Ringgold.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LLC of Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
