She was of the Methodist faith. She was a volunteer at the Cleveland Public Library. She was retired from the Center of Disease Control in Atlanta.
She is survived by husband, Robert Healea of Cleveland; son, Chad Polazzo of Atlanta; one brother, David de Mello of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and three sisters: Roberta Hall of Onterio, Calif., Tracy Underhill of Durham, N.C., and Sally Berg of LaBelle, Fla.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
