He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Mowery.
He is survived by his children: Julie (Rick) Jablonski and Scott (Kim) Mower,y all of Dyer, Ind.; brothers: David and William Mowery; sister, JoAnn (Lawrence) James; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
Inurnment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
A gathering of friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
