Your church is a mosque?

The pews have been removed from your church, because the new congregation either stands or sits on the floor. Attached to the church outside is a tall slender tower which a man climbs six times a day to call the community to prayer to Allah.

You have three choices: (1) convert to Islam; (2) refuse to convert and be a second-class citizen — little more than a slave; or (3) defy all aspects of the new religion and be shot or beheaded.

If you convert to the Muslim faith, you are watched closely to see if you, in fact, go to the mosque and bow to Allah.

If you do not accept the new faith, you have few rights and are taxed heavily. If a Muslim wants your seat, you must vacate it and you must always submit to his wishes.

Preposterous, you say? It has happened many times in other parts of the world.

Frank Wright, president of the National Religious Broadcasters association in America, said: “Some Christians will not wake up until they go to church and discover that the door is locked and a sign has been placed on it that reads, ‘This Church Is Officially Closed.’”

The above scenario pictures a country where Muslims are in total charge and sharia law is enforced.

In the book, “Shariah: The Threat to America,” the author says Islam has a detailed system of laws that “regulate all manner of behavior in the secular sphere — economic, social, military, legal, and political.”

It governs “all aspects of civil society and human life, both public and private.”

In a country where Islam is not predominate, Muslims work to undermine the government. For example, Mohamed Akram of the Muslim Brotherhood said: “[Our] work in America is a kind of grand jihad [struggle] in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

Islam plans to set up sharia law worldwide, including the United States. In their view, “it is impossible ... for alternate legal systems and forms of governments to peacefully coexist with the end-state they seek,” one writer said.

Muslims believe they must obey the laws of Allah, or sharia, though they reside in non-Muslim countries.

A Muslim leader by the name of Abdurahman Alamoudi said: “I have no doubt in my mind, Muslims sooner or later will be the moral leadership of America.”

He continued, “It depends on you and me, either we do it now or we do it after a 100 years, but this country will become a Muslim country.”

The Church of Holy Wisdom may be the oldest church in the world and is located in Istanbul, Turkey. A massive building which can hold 20,000 standing people, it was dedicated by the great emperor Justanian in AD 537.

Though the building is 1,500 years old, it is still standing and is still a beautiful structure. For 1,000 years it was Christian until 1453 when it was taken over by Muslims.

The worship of Christ was replaced by the worship of Allah and the Quran replaced the Bible. All crosses were removed, holy writings burned, and mosaics were plastered over. Not only that, but many former churches are now mosques, especially in Europe.

Though today it may seem that error is enthroned and truth is dragged in the dust, Christ is still sovereign; He still reigns.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy” (Colossians 1:17, 18).
