FRANKFORT, Ky. — Chalk up another big honor for Lee University’s Hollie German. On Tuesday evening at the annual NAIA national tournament banquet, the junior guard was named to the 10-member 2013 NAIA Coaches’ All-America Team.

This season German has already been named the CoSida Academic Player of the Year, the SSAC Player of the Year and to the All-Tournament team. She will lead the Lady Flames into the first round of the NAIA Division I National Championship on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

Four other Lady Flames were also honored at the banquet. Rachel Lockhart was Lee’s Champion of Character winner, while Julia Zimmerman, Karley Miller and Lauren Browning joined German and Lockhart on the NAIA National Scholar Athlete list.

“The WBCA congratulates the members of the 2013 NAIA Coaches’ All-America Team,” said WBCA CEO Beth Bass. “These 10 student-athletes have helped trigger their teams’ success this season and have propelled their game to a level that is deserving of such recognition.”
