The Bradley Pride Wrestling Club won the 2013 Tennessee AAU middle school state Championship recently. Coach Ryan Ensminger stated, "Words cannot describe how proud I am of this group of young men. They wrestled and fought hard all day long and are bringing the gold back home to Bradley County." Bradley Pride totaled seven state place winners. Knox Fuller (105 pounds) and T.J. Hicks (90 pounds) won individual state titles as well. The Bradley Pride finished in first with 193 Team Points over second place Nashville Catholic with 167 points and Soddy-Daisy with 143 points. Trey Hicks placed third in the 75-pound class and Caleb Eachus placed third at 125. Dusty Brown placed fifth at 90 and Austin Mathews finished fifth at 130.
