Missionaries Robert and Peggy McConnell will be the ministering Sunday at 6 p.m. at Victory Drive Church of God.

The McConnells had 14 years of constructing new churches, rebuilding earthquake destroyed churches, damaged churches, additions, classrooms, Bible schools and constructing wells for water in 11 nations.

Foremost they were preaching, teach and seeing thousands come to Salvation, noted W. C. Vaughan, pastor at Victory Drive.

The couple built and ministered where 600,000 died in genocide between 1993 to 1996. they completed between 160 to 180 projects, without taking a salary but living on Social Security.

They also ministered the Pech, the Mesquitia, the Lakota Sioux and the Navajo, as well as native people in Mexico, Chile, Canada, Honduras, Belize, Zambia, Rwanda and Africa.
