Evidence Pure Gospel, a popular country-gospel trio from Knoxville, will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee this Friday at 7 p.m.

“All three members of Evidence Pure Gospel are talented singers and Diana Walker brings one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth voices ever to sing on the Jubilee stage,” said Will Nichols, producer of the Friday night events.

“During their six years together, Evidence Pure Gospel has developed a smooth country sound that reaches straight to the heart.”

The trio is composed of Walker, Buddy Coppock and JoJo Coppock.

“Besides producing their amazing blend, the group also has a track record of writing exceptional songs,” said Nichols. “All three singers are accomplished songwriters and wrote most of the songs on their latest CD ‘Beneath His Wings’.”

Also appearing on the Jubilee is award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, Amy McAlister and The Cowboy Church Band and Chorale. Nichols is host and announcer.

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community at 3040 Blythe Road, off Dockery Lane, between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads. Admission is free and a love offering is taken for the band.
