Grace H. Bedwell, 94, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her home surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1918. She was a longtime resident of Cleveland and an active member of First United Methodist Church. She served as the secretary at First United Methodist for 32 years, and was very active in the youth department and also with the Holston Conference of United Methodist Women. She spent much of her time here on earth investing in her church. She loved the work the Lord was doing at First United Methodist and dedicated her life to it.

In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by two brothers, Foss Harwell and James Wilber Harwell and a sister, Louise Baker.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 68 years, C.W. Bedwell; and many extended family members and a host of other close friends.

The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church, 3425 North Ocoee St., Friday April 5, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church at 1 p.m.

Interment is scheduled for the National Cemetery in Chattanooga on Monday April 8, 2013, at 10:30 a.m.
