LAKE FOREST MIDDLE SCHOOL students, from left, Haley Williams, Kendall Cate, Trent Goins, Elijah Carey, Brynna Frakes, Kate Gwaltney, Lillian Moore and Taylor Lawson, along with Mr. Joshua Wenger, LFMS choir director, participated in the Tennessee Treble Honor Choir in Chattanooga on Thursday. Students auditioned with Wenger, then each was individually recorded singing "America." The recordings were sent to Tennessee Treble Honor Choir audition panel. Selected LFMS students met with Wenger after school once a week for four weeks to practice. On Wednesday, all 133 choir members from all over the state came together at First Baptist of Chattanooga to practice for four hours. Thursday morning the Tennessee Treble Honor Choir performed at the Chattanooga Convention Center for the Tennessee Music Educators Association convention.
