The Cleveland Civitan Club welcomed newcomer Jennifer Ayers, D.O. to the membership and to Cleveland and Bradley County this past Wednesday at their weekly lunch meeting. Dr. Ayers opened Cardiology Services of Cleveland on the second floor of SkyRidge Medical Center in January and is getting ready to add a partner to give Bradley County the advantage of total heart health here at home. Dr. Ayers explained her approach to holistic heart health and reviewed the various ways people can make changes to prevent heart disease. "The greatest preventative care is walking at least 30 minutes a day five days each week after you have received the OK from your physician to start the walking regiment," she advised. From left are Civitans Jerry McGaha and Ann Marie Brewer, Ayers, Civitans Veronica Fox and George Gray.
