Freda Stinnett, 59, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday night, April 26, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of the Bradley and Polk counties area, being born in Cleveland on July 10, 1953, a daughter of the late Fred and Laura Louise Brown.

She was of the Baptist faith. She loved crafts, her dog “Rusty,”, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Brown; and one great-grandson, Kaiden Gray.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters: Angie Gray and husband Stacey, Shelia Womac Elliott and Ashley Stinnett; one “adopted daughter,” Michelle Wentworth; four grandchildren: Brandon Gray, Nicole Gray, Jamee Lemons and Drake Thomas; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Brown; one brother, James Brown (Tammy), both of Benton; and numerous other extended family members and friends.

The family is planning a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
