Squire Parsons to sing Sunday at Bellefounte

Squire Parsons will be in concert Sunday evening at 6 at Bellefounte Baptist Church.

Parsons, a Southern gospel singer and songwriter, has serve din numerous positions as music director, teacher and band director.  In 1975, he became the baritone singer with the Kingsman Quartet. He began his solo ministry in 1979.

Parsons has been nominated for the Dove Award for male vocalist and songwriter. In October 2008 was inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame in Pigeon Forge.

He has written several songs, including “Sweet Beulah Land,” which was voted Favorite Song of the Year in 1981 by the Singing News.

Pastor Luke Walker and Bellefounte Church are “blessed to have Squire share the gift God has given him during this worship time and wish to invite the public to join them.”

Bellefounte Baptist is located at the corner of Highway 11N and Bellefounte Road.
