This is the 26th year for a "wonder-filled" tent camping program called Wonders in the Woods that Broad Street United Methodist Church offers at its Johnston Woods facility during June and July. There are six overnight tent camps offered. During the camps, campers and counselors enjoy crafts, fishing, paddle boating, pickle ball, games, preparing thier own food and much, much more. Youth and adult counselors assist in conducting the camps. Students who are rising third-, fourth- and fifth-graders are eligible. Several of the camps are already full and closed. However, the Wolverines Camp, June 26-29, has spaces available. They will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For registration forms you may visit the church's website at bsumc.org. You may also contact camp directors David or Mary Ketchersid at 476-5586. Here, Aimee Jordan and Leah Hargis are enjoying water fun at Tadpoles Camp 2012.
