Linsdale Bluegrass Festival to be June 1

On June 1, the Bluegrass Festival will begin with music at noon in Linsdale, and will continue until 9 p.m. Admission is $5 with children under 12 admitted free. The festival site is located inside the Linsdale Pavilion, rain or shine.

Five bands are in the lineup for the 20th Bluegrass Festival — Third Degree, Just Us, Reliance, By the Way and Faith Willin’. The sound system will be operated by Cindy Studdard and Stacy Wilson.

Concessions include barbecue chicken plates, hamburgers, hot dogs, Nachos, pinto beans, barbecue sandwiches and homemake desserts. No alcohol or drugs are allowed.

Camping in the rough is free. Hookups are available for $10 per night. Clean restrooms and showers will be accessible.

From Cleveland, take Highway 11 N. to Highway 163 E.; or take Highway 64 E. to 411 N. to Benton. Turn left at light. Follow signs.
