Prospect students are state winners in Literacy Contest

TEN PROSPECT elementary students were state winners in the International Reading Association's Celebrate Literacy Contest. Each student had to write and illustrate a story, then bind it into a book. All 10 students were state winners. Students included, from left back, Matthew Calhoun, bronze; and Zachary Vallejos, silver. It’s Zachary’s third consecutive year to be a state winner.
