The Mustang sophomore to be fired a 3-over 39 on the front nine and then blistered the back side with a 1-over 37 for a 78 to capture the Boys 13-15 Masters Division title by eight strokes.
Lillard was one of seven local linksters in the event, four of which battled in the Boys 13-under Masters.
With just four strokes separating them, the four Cleveland youngsters were led by third place finisher Nicholas McCracken with a 5-over 41 in the nine-hole challenge. Gage Brakebill was right on his heels with a 42 for fourth place, while Parker Gray and Drew Linkous finished sixth and seventh with a 44 and 45 respectively.
Polk County standout Michael Rongey earned a third place finish in the Boys 16-18 Masters with a 41-41 — 82.
Cleveland High rising junior Heidi Barringer was the lone local female entrant, capturing second place in the Girls 16-18 Masters with a 45-45 — 90.
A TGA Junior Tour was held today at the Chatata Valley Golf Club with 72 entrants expected. Tour stops will also be made at the Waterville Golf Course on June 13 and Cleveland Country Club June 17.
