The instructor is professionally qualified to present the program which could lead to a discount from your insurance company. Class fee for the eight-hour course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. To pre-register, call McMinn Senior Center at 423-745-6830.
Summer is almost here and for many kids that means it’s time for camp. The Salvation Army is preparing for its annual summer camp which benefits children from disadvantaged circumstances. Children ages 7-12 are eligible to go to The Salvation Army’s Division Camp located on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. The fun-filled week will offer crafts, fishing, swimming, sports, songfests and campfires with a focus on learning about God’s love. Certified camp instructors supervise all swimming and waterfront activities and there is a nurse on duty at all times. For more information, call Gina Ballinger at 308-3467.
