Dr. Terry Ellis, president of the Rock of Ages Ministries, will be the guest speaker Sunday during the 11 a.m and 6 p.m. services at Maranatha Baptist Church.

Rock of Ages Ministries has 150 full-time missionaries who work in prisons across the United States and six other countries. The ministries reaches through preaching and discipleship outreaches.

Peggy Ellis will be the special singer during the services.

Maranatha Baptist Church is an independent church “designed to evangelize the sinner, exalt the Saviour and perfect the saints,” according to the church website.

Pastor Robert Nelms noted the church service times are Sunday school at 10 a.m.; morning service, 11 a.m.; Sunday evening at 6; and Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Nelms said the church has a bus ministry, full youth ministry, including children’s church.

The church is home of the Maranatha Christian Academy, which offers A Beka curriculum for grades K4 to 12th.
