Two of the Chattanooga Swim League heavyweight teams met Monday evening for a highly anticipated meet that pitted undefeated team against undefeated team.

The 5-0 Cleveland Aqua Tigers traveled to Ringgold, Ga., to take on the 6-0 TigerSharks for a meet that certainly lived up to the hype.

In the end, it was the Aqua Tigers who emerged the victors by a narrow two-point margin, defeating the TigerSharks 381.5-379.5.

Jacob McDaniel topped out the high-point scoring for Cleveland with 19 points, while Blake Odum had 17 points.

Grayson Payne, Regan Fuller, and Zoe Meyer each had 16 points apiece.

Gracelyn Jackson, Lauren Thompson, and Grayson Officer racked up 15 points each, while Alexia Jackson and Ben Cooper each added 13 points to the team total.

Kylee Weir, Zach Bianucci, and Max Cooper finished the meet with 12 points apiece.

Tiffany Harricarrah and Adam Foster rounded out CAT’s high-point scoring with 11 points.

The Aqua Tigers and the TigerSharks will face off again in another heated meet tonight, as the Ringgold squad travels to Cleveland for a meet that had to be rescheduled due to bad weather earlier in the season.

The meet begins at 6 p.m. at the Tinsley pool.
