Detective Steve Ross said the male and female suspects broke into a car in Polk County, took property including credit cards, then came to Cleveland and used the cards to make fraudulent purchases.
Images of the suspects were captured on store security cameras where the fraudulent purchases were made.
Anyone knowing the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Ross at 303-3120, or by calling the nonemergency Hotline at 728-7311 and following the correct voice prompts.
- An 8-year suspended sentence plus costs and restitution was handed down to a woman who pleaded guilty to embezzling approximately $80,000 from a local cash advance company.
Tammy Key, 45, was charged with theft of property over $60,000 after an audit of records at American Trust Cash Advance revealed she had written checks and taken funds from the company, according to officials with ATCA.
Key entered her plea along with her attorney, Scott Kanavos.
She was ordered to pay restitution to ATCA, plus court costs.
Key will also be monitored by the Tennessee Board of Probations and Parole regarding restitution and her suspended sentence.
Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division detectives were in charge of the case.
Key was also ordered to spend 30 days in the Bradley County Jail.
