Jimmy Franklin Brancefield, 66, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday morning, July 19, 2013, in a local hospital.

He was born in Scottsboro, Ala., on July 15, 1947, a son of the late George Brancefield.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ruth Brancefield; and two brothers: John and Jerry Brancefield.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 14 years, Twiligh Ann Price Brancefield; one son, Nathan, of Cleveland; one daughter, Caressia of Alabama; one sister, Marie Murphy of Cleveland; four grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members, church family and friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for tonight, July 24, 2013, at 7 at the Church of Jesus Christ, 800 Benton Pike in Cleveland, with the Revs. Boyd Lawson, Bill Wilson and Russell Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 until the 7 p.m. service time today at the church.

He will be interred with military honors in Chattanooga National Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
