Hopewell Church of God, 5765 Eureka Road, has launched new programs for boys and girls.

The Royal Rangers for boys and Girls-Prims & Stars for girls meet every Wednesday evening from 6:45 to 8. These programs are led by Children’s Pastor Dana Carrier, his wife, Angie, and coordinators Ryan and Holly Ulrich.

Royal Rangers is a weekly program for mentoring and empowering boys in a fun environment.

The Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry is geared to enlist boys in a variety of exciting activities with the ultimate goal of becoming Christ-like young men.

During the process of working toward goals and awards, they complete merits in Bible study, leadership, and life skills. The program is currently available to Ranger Kids (kindergarten through second grade) and Discovery Rangers (grades 3-5).

GPS is currently being offered to all girls ages K-5. Divided into groups, Prims and Stars, girls participate in a discovery of the Bible to find their importance and true potential in God's Kingdom.

Other goals include strengthening each girl’s relationship with Jesus Christ and helping them to form lasting, life-changing friendships. Girls accomplish their goals through a weekly study of the Bible, hands-on activities, earning awards and participating in adventures.

The staff and congregation of Hopewell Church of God invite all K-5 children to participate in these activities.

The church also offers a complete program for preschool children. Parents are encouraged to attend. Bible study is offered in the main sanctuary and a nursery for children under the age of 2 is also available.
