Julia Oneida Howard, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel and Farrel Lora Ratcliff Howard; infant brother and sister, John Daniel and Jennie Lou Howard; a very special and loving brother, Jack LaBraun Howard; and one nephew, Brian Wesley Howard.
She is survived by two sisters: Joyce Mary Howard and Jean Etta and her husband, Ralph Lindsey Bedingfield of Lake City, Fla.; also nephews: Ralph Lindsey Jr. and wife, Lori; and great-niece, Ellie Ann Bedingfield of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Richard Howard Bedingfield of Atlanta, Ga.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School class of 1944. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church where she served as secretary and bookkeeper to the late Marquis J. Triplett, former pastor of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She also was secretary and bookkeeper and later the Dean of Students of Cleveland Day School (private school). She lastly retired from the Bradley County Schools’ accounting department.
The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.
