Martha Ann Cain Stinnett, 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
She was the daughter of the late Lamar N. and Mary Cross Cain and was also preceded in death by her brothers, L.N. Cain, Floyd Cain and Joe Cain, and her sisters, Ella Stinnett, Mary Sue Cain and Flora Britt. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Stinnett; her daughters: Debbie Jenkins and her husband, Barry, and Tammy Fields and her husband, Jerry, all of Cleveland; her sons: David Stinnett of Cleveland, Ricky Stinnett and his wife, Katie, of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her sisters: Margaret Baber of Chattanooga and Linda Stinnett and her husband, Carl, of Benton; her brother, Preston Cain and his wife, Diane; and many nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at the Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Fox officiating. Interment will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Benton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 5-8 p.m. at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes and Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church.
