Charles D. Stewart, 46, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went home to be with Jesus on Monday morning, Aug. 19, 2013, at his home. He was born in Cleveland on Sept. 24, 1966.

He loved fishing and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, but above all he loved his children.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Laci Stewart; one son, Matthew Stewart and his wife, Kristy; his mother and stepfather, Ann and Earl Hall; father and stepmother Larry and Tammy Stewart; one grandson, Cameron Stewart; two sisters: Tammy Myers and husband, Billy, and Cherie Burke; one half-sister, Lauren Stewart; one grandmother, Joyce Stewart; a special friend, Jean Cullins; several other extended family members and a host of friends.

A memorial gathering is planned for Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, from 5 to 8: p.m., at Samples Memorial Baptist Church, 371 Samples Chapel Road in Cleveland.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charles’ memory be made to a trust fund for his daughter Laci. Checks should be made payable to the Laci Stewart Trust Fund and can be sent to Southern Heritage Bank, 3020 Keith St. N.W., Cleveland TN 37311.
