Abby Black has joined Life Care Centers of America as its new corporate events coordinator.
Black most recently served as assistant to the director of special events at Lee University, planning events such as Homecoming, Lee Day, faculty and staff Christmas parties, building dedications and other community functions.
“Abby Black will play a very important role in all of the hospitality and education functions at Life Care as we host hundreds of guests and associates for annual meetings, orientation, training programs and tours,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “Her involvement in planning and coordinating these events will provide effective and efficient realization of desired results. Her personality and her experience at Lee University uniquely equip her for such leadership.”
Black graduated from Lee University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2010. Throughout her college career, she served Lee as a member of its summer conferences staff.
“I loved working at Lee, and I’m grateful for everything I learned there,” said Black. “I feel like this is an opportunity to grow, and I’m looking forward to new challenges in a new setting.”
Black grew up in Cleveland and is a Cleveland High School graduate.
