Sue D. Howard, 77 of Cleveland, died Wednesday, Aug. 28,2013.
She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Athens, the daughter of the late Charles Duggan Sr. and Ida Viola Moses Duggan.
She worked in the Textile industry and was a charter member of Old Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ronnie “Pedro” Duggan; stepdaughter, Christine Howard; sister, Dorothy Walker; brother, Charles Duggan Jr.; and four great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Howard; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Keith Rogers of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Teresa Duggan of Ellijay, Ga.; brother, Bobby and Brenda Duggan of Athens; brother-in-law and spouse, Ernest and Pollie Howard of Benton; grandchildren and spouses: Susan Rene’ Smith, Jessica (Mark) Eckels, Robin Hitchcock, Shane (Melissa) Duggan, Jason (Lana) Duggan, Justin (Misty) Duggan, Brandon Rogers; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and extended family.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, Ga., with the Revs. Franklin Harper, Johnny McClure, Johnny Payne and brother Shane Duggan officiating.
Interment will be in the Old Faith Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
