Edward “Eddie” Owen Painter, 52, of Cleveland, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at his residence.
He was of the Lutheran faith. He was employed with Jackson Manufacturing for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Edward Painter; and his beloved grandmother, Edna M. Painter.
He is survived by his mother, Judy DeLude; two children: Kelli Painter Ledford and husband, Chris and James Edward Painter; two grandchildren: Madyson Ledford and Braxton Ledford; former wife, best friend and mother of his children, Melissa Painter Kennedy; one sister, Vicki Botticelli; and two nephews: Tony Botticelli and Alan Botticelli, all of Cleveland.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Vince Norman officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
