Sara Elizabeth Nedeau, 36, of Harrison, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Lansing, Mich. on Oct. 22, 1975, to Dale Jr. and Carolyn Munson. She graduated from Loma Linda Academy in Loma Linda, Calif. in 1994. She married Bryant Nedeau on July 13, 1996, in Hagerstown, Md. After relocating several times, the couple settled in the Chattanooga area in 2009.
Prior to her illness, she was the administrative assistant at The Honors Golf Course in Ooltewah. She was an active member at Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison. She volunteered in numerous ways and loved singing in the choir. She was also an active member on the board of directors for SPARC of Chattanooga where she enjoyed helping those with physical disabilities participate in sports activities.
She is survived by her husband Bryant Nedeau and her three children: Kyle Douglas Nedeau, 16; Allison Paige Nedeau, 15; and Abigail Elaine Nedeau, 12. She is also survived by one sister, Michelle McCorry, of Lansing Mich.; and three brothers: Doug Munson, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Dale Munson III, of Deerfield Wis.; and Rodney Munson, of Knoxville; as well as one niece and six nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at Bayside Baptist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
