Thelma Marie Bledsoe, 85, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday Sept. 15, 2013, at the home of her brother, Robert and his wife, Norma Price.
She was a presser for several dry cleaners from the age of 17 until she retired.
Although she lived a quite life for the last several years, she always welcomed visits from family and friends, especially small children and teenagers. They would always be greeted with a smile and something to eat and drink and a genuine question about their welfare.
A celebration of her life is planned for tonight, Sept. 19, 2013, at 7:30 at East Cleveland Baptist Church, 1145 Arnold St. N.E., with the Rev. Joe Lockman.
The family will receive friends at the church tonight from 5 until the 7:30 service time.
Interment will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The funeral procession will leave Companion Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
You are encouraged to share a memory of Thelma and/or your personal condolences with her family by visiting her memorial web page and guest book at www.companionfunerals.com.
