Billie Jean Eversole, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Carter “Choppy” and Elizabeth Reed Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Eversole; her siblings: Lillie Jo Anderson, Jarve Lee Anderson, Carter Anderson Jr., Kenneth Anderson, Cecil Anderson and J.B. Anderson.
She was a faithful member of East Side Church of Christ for 34 years. She was a cashier at the Burger House on Spring Place Road since 1981. “She was the greatest mother alive.”
Survivors include her children: Wayne Eversole, Donnie Eversole and his wife, Sherlene, Minister Robby Eversole and his wife, Cathy, and Gary Eversole and his wife, Donna; stepson, Harry Eversole Jr. and his wife, Devonia; grandchildren: Lisa Rogers and her husband, Ricky, Donnie Eversole Jr., Holly Eubanks and her husband, Zach, Robby Lee Eversole, Jeremy Eversole and Kristin Eversole; great-grandchildren: Stephen Cameron III, Annaliece Eubanks and Gabrielle Eubanks; great-great-grandchildren: Robert Ethan Eversole and Karson Elizabeth Eversole; sisters: Evelyn Gibson, Norma Hall and Jackie Hurd and her husband, Bill; and brothers: Damon Anderson and Bobby Anderson and his wife, Judy.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at East Side Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Archey, Minister Robby Eversole and Minister Bill Maynard officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ricky Rogers, Robby Lee Eversole, Jeremy Eversole, Stephen Cameron and Zach Eubanks serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church and from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
