Sewing a button and a making a pillow using a sewing machine … youth at the Benton Unit of the Boys & Girls Club recently learned those life skills at a workshop held by the Polk County 4-H Sew Business members. Participating in the program were Tanner Meachen, Eden Haire, Kaelin Barks, Sarah Massey, Nova Crowe, Isaac Peterson, Tori Wooten, Jasmine Diaz, Tate Meachen and Ally Akin. Assisting with the program are 4-H members Abigail Firestone and Susan Stewart. Chris Spurling, Gloria Risko and Penny Stewart served as adult volunteer leaders along with Donna Calhoun, 4-H agent.
