UDC plans for The Living History event in Cleveland

New officers were sworn in: Marilyn Kinne, president; Lisa Pritchett, vice president; Katy Tippens, treasurer; Debbie Riggs, historian; and Peggy Morrison, public relations. Plans for the Living History Event in Cleveland Oct. 4 and 5. The Living History Event will also take place in Charleston Nov. 8 and 9.

Three members received certificates adding Confederate-descendant relatives to their membership: Marilyn Kinne, Lisa Pritchett and Peggy Morrison.

The October meeting will be at the library at 1 p.m. on Oct. 19, due to the Tennessee UDC Convention which is on the second Saturday in Knoxville

The November meeting will be held at the Living History Event in Charleston, beginning at 8:45 a.m.
