Felix Gallaher, 98, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Oct.10, 2013, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He attended Community Hall Church and his faith was in God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gallaher; and parents, Jerry Baker and Mabel Gallaher.
Survivors include his children: JoAnn Swafford and Betty Bottoms, both of Cleveland; grandchildren: Darrell and Sharon Bottoms, Gary and Wanda Bottoms, Debbie Ellis, Tony and Jennifer Swafford, Tracy and Suzi Swafford and Nick and Robyn Swafford; great-grandchildren: Matthew Bottoms, Zachary Murphy, Grant Bottoms, Brett Swafford, Haley Swafford, Jackson Swafford, Morgan Swafford, and Jenssen Swafford; great-great-grandson, Elijah Keane Murphy; brother, Bob Baker of Georgia; and sisters: Sue Reynolds of Cleveland and Betty Turner of Florida.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 13, 2013, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with his grandson Darrell Bottoms officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
