“Trick and Treating” will be held at the library from 4 until 6 p.m. on Halloween for children 12 and under. Start at the Circulation Desk and proceed to the Children’s Room where the first 35 children will be able to make and take a decorated pumpkin.

Inman Street Coffeehouse at 437 Inman St. is turning 2 years old! Come help celebrate on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. The fun, free event will feature music from Ashton Roach, The Emmerson Project, Ambitions and The Mailboxes. “Movie Night at the Library” will be Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. with a showing of “The Cheap Detective” in the Community Room. This movie parodies old gangster films and movies like “Casablanca” and “The Maltese Falcon.” Popcorn will be served.

Friends of the Library Association’s Fall Author Luncheon reservations are still being accepted at the library. The event is on Oct. 24 at the Cleveland Country Club. The cost for the luncheon is $35 per person.

The Calfee cousins homecoming bus trip will be Oct. 26. Anyone wishing to attend can meet at Hardee’s on Keith Street at 8:30 a.m. Anyone attending is encouraged to bring a covered dish. Bradley Concerts Inc. will present legendary hit-makers The Diamonds on Oct. 28 at the Conn Center on Lee University campus The Diamonds will take the stage at 7 p.m. for a night of classic rock and roll. Tickets will be available at the door.
