Local funeral

home praised

for assistance

To The Editor:

After recently experiencing a sudden death in my immediate family, I was seeking some assistance in the Cleveland area.

Having lived my entire life in the state of Maryland, I had never met Mr. Robbie Cody of Companion Funeral Home, but Mr. Cody very readily came to my aid even though there was no monetary gain for his business.

The Bradley County/Cleveland area is very fortunate to be blessed with a compassionate, ethical businessperson that was willing to give so freely of his time during my time of need.

Many thanks for allowing me to publicly express my gratitude.

Retired nurse

thanks BHRC

for her career

To The Editor:

I worked as a nurse at Bradley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center (formerly Bradley County Nursing Home) for 38 years.

I am thankful for all the years I worked there, as working with the elderly is a very rewarding job.

I recently had to retire due to health issues.

I worked with loyal, caring employees who put all their efforts toward their jobs and the care of the residents.

I want to thank all the staff for their concerns, contributions and prayers during my illness.

I would recommend Bradley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center to all short-term or long-term residents who are in need of nursing home care.
