He was born in Cleveland Aug. 8, 1953, a son of the late Robert Eugene and Margaret Ellen Brown.
He was of the Christian faith. He loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and also enjoying restoring antique cars and motorcycles. Above his love for the great outdoors was his family and he was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 31 years Connie Norwood Brown; daughter: Holly Brown, and her boyfriend Cody Westmoreland; son and daughter-in-law: Robby and Jenny Swayne Brown; granddaughter: Paige Westmoreland, all of McDonald; one sister, Benoria Cecil (John) of Arkansas; and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends. He was looking forward to the arrival of his second grandchild in the coming months.
A graveside service is planned for Monday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m., in the Lee Cemetery in McDonald with the Rev. Ron Perry officiating.
Heath Green, Cody Jordan, Cody Westmoreland, Robby Brown, Jim Swayne and Nick Cross will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2415 Georgetown Road N.W., Monday, from 1 p.m. until time to leave in procession to the gravesite.
