A local golfer recently completed his round with the “perfect shot.”

While playing the newly renovated Waterville Golf Course, Johnny Woodward pulled out his driver for the 275-yard dogleg right 18th hole and not only drove the green, but his shot found the bottom of the cup for a rare “albatross.”

The amazing drive off the tee on the course’s new finishing hole was witnessed by Randy Ensminger, James Bynum and Jimmy Malek.
