CapitalMark Bank & Trust has been in the process of establishing a local board in Cleveland.

The advisory board consists of six local professionals from various industries who will meet periodically to discuss new ideas and collaboratively strategize for future growth in the Cleveland market.

“The foundation of our banking model is to be responsive to clients’ varying needs. At CapitalMark we believe there shouldn’t be a one-size-fits-all banking solution because each client’s needs and goals are different from the next, so our Banker Teams work proactively to customize solutions accordingly,” said Keith Barrett, CapitalMark’s Cleveland president. “Additionally, we make all lending decisions on a local level, so utilizing the local board to provide key insight to business and industry trends will propel us to deliver even better solutions for our clients.”

CapitalMark recently received its 10th consecutive five-star rating for strength, stability and soundness from independent rating and research firm BauerFinancial.

Additionally, CapitalMark’s Cleveland office is celebrating its one-year anniversary in the market.

“Our next step is to facilitate conversations to continue bettering our bank and, most importantly, better serve our Cleveland market using the Board’s high level of community knowledge and valuable market feedback,” Barrett said.

CapitalMark’s Cleveland Board members include:

n Matt D. Bentley, general manager of Bendabout Properties

n Catherine Boettner, consultant at LBMC Planning Services and former owner, president and general manager of Cleveland Tubing, Inc.

n Brian Collins, president of Collins Oil Company, Inc.

n Bryce Kirksey, CPA, attorney at Burns, Henry and Kirksey P.C.

n Garry Rodgers, principal for the Rodgers Group and co-founder and managing partner of Chestnut Development Partners, L.P.

n Stephen D. Wright, president of Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc., president of Wright Brothers Contracting, Inc. and chairman of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.
