The bride is the daughter of Joe and Charlotte Spencer of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Itzeltean Matthews of Cleveland, the late Norman Matthews and the late Ralph and Bobbie Spencer.
The bridegroom is the son of Stacy Emigh of Cleveland and the late Joseph Gomez. He is the grandson of Nancy and Calvin Holland of Winslow, Ariz., and the late Angel and Viola Gomez.
The wedding was officiated by Dr. Joseph R.R. Tanner, pastor of First Presbyterian Church. Nuptial music was presented by Karen Archer, organist; Angelia Kienlen, vocalist; and The Voices of Joy choir.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister Andrea Spencer as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included the bridegroom’s sister Alissa Wilson, along with Amber Kienlen, Jennifer Clark and Amy Ownby, all of Cleveland, Lindley Holder of Clarksville, Charli Thomas of Knoxville, Holly Snyder of Horsehead, N.Y., and Susan Lesser of Greenvillle, S.C.
Best man to the bridegroom was Francisco Gomez of Winslow. Groomsmen were Jacob Clark, Tyler Jones, Braden Sneed, Brice Sharp and Ryan Ownby, all of Cleveland, and Carl Pemberton of Chattanooga.
Children in the wedding party were flower girl Syden Daresta of Knoxville and ring bearer Myles Sneed of Cleveland.
The bride’s parents gave the reception at the church. Joann Whitehead assisted. Grace Sneed and Leah Carlson attended the bride’s book.
After a wedding trip to West Palm Beach, Fla., the couple is at home in Cleveland.
