Edith N. Vaught, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 in a Knoxville hospital.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church, where she was a prayer warrior. She was a charter member of Bridgemakers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Vaught; parents, James and Nancy York Farley; brothers: James Farley and Milton Farley; and sisters: Ruth Wright, Ruby Hall and Kathy Farley.

She is survived by her children: Joe Bryant of Benton Station; Donald W. Vaught and wife, Robin, of Cleveland; and Connie Bailey and husband, Kevin, of Knoxville; grandchildren: Shane Bryant, Dona Leonard, Dustin Vaught and Chase Ballinger; five great-grandchildren: Susan, Kayla, Brittany, Blake and Sara; sister, Mary Griffith of Naples, Fla.; brother, Darrell Farley of Largo, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. today, Dec. 1, 2013, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David Riggs officiating.

Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

Her family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
