Team percentages are derived by dividing a team’s actual voting points by a maximum 2625 possible points in the Harris Interactive Poll and 1550 possible points in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Six computer rankings are used to determine the overall computer component. The highest and lowest ranking for each team is dropped, and the remaining four are added and divided to produce a Computer Rankings Percentage. The six computer ranking providers are Anderson & Hester, Richard Billingsley, Colley Matrix, Kenneth Massey, Jeff Sagarin, and Peter Wolfe. Each computer ranking accounts for schedule strength in its formula.

CLEVELAND CRUSH TRYOUT

PBI SHOWCASE SET FOR BCHS

Bradley Central High School will host the 2013 Professional Baseball Instructional Tennessee Showcase Dec. 27-29. The two-day camp is put on by professional scouts and coaches, as well as selected college coaches. U.S. BASEBALL ACADEMY CAMP

Cleveland State Community College will host a four week baseball camp beginning Jan. 5. Cleveland head coach Mike Policastro will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to six players per coach. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning.
