Hoyt “Jack” Freeman, 74, of Cleveland, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center.

He was of the Baptist faith and owner of Jack’s Gun and Bow Cases in Cleveland. He loved playing softball and coaching Taylor’s youth basketball.

He was a son of the late Ervin and Cecil Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Freeman; grandson, Joshua Lee Freeman; two sisters, Thelma Bandy and Lollie Green; and one brother, J.L. Goins.

Survivors include wife of 55 years, Donna Freeman of Cleveland; two sons: Scott and Tim Freeman, both of Cleveland; a brother, James Freeman of Riceville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec, 3, 2013, in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Delano Cemetery Wednesday, Dec. 4, for the 10 a.m., committal service.
