Emma Jean Davidson, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, 2013, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Treva Mae Martin Loflin and Lewis Clell Loflin. Her husband, James Davidson, also preceded her in death.
She was an avid tennis player and she loved to paint. She attended the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Louis Davidson and his wife, Valerie, of Thompsons Station, Tenn.; her granddaughter, Amanda Davidson Turnbo and her husband, Andrew, of Smyrna; her great-grandchildren: Addison and Aria Turnbo both of Smyrna; her sister, Carolyn Cunningham and her husband, Bill, of Reidsville, N.C.; her brother, Max Loflin and his wife, Linda, of Lexington, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Dr. Joseph Kemper officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family request that in lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Avalon Hospice, 740 Pell Street Suite 300 Athens, Tennessee 37303.
