In January, the annual Remember When section will again be found in the Cleveland Daily Banner.

Readers are asked to submitted a limit of five old photographs by 5 p.m. Jan. 7 for inclusion in the section, which will run in the newspaper on Jan. 12.

The photos should be at least 25 years old or older.

“It is always fun to walk down memory lane with our readers as they share their old photos,” noted Gwen Swiger, associate editor.

“We ask that individuals include the names of people in the photo, where possible, and where they are located. Please include information with the photos,” Swiger said.

When submitting the photos, include an address, so they may be returned to you; and a phone number, in case if questions. Bringing the photos by after noon is also suggested.

Photos may be submitted in person at the Banner office, 1505 25th St., mailed to P.O. Box 3600, Cleveland, TN 37320-3600 or emailed to

No photos will be taken after Jan. 7.
