A benefit singing for Casey Truelove will be held Saturday Jan. 25, at Victory Faith Church, King Edward Avenue, at 5 p.m. The featured singers will be Appointed Quartet, The Burns Family, Mercy’s Call and Recognized.

The Bradley County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet today at 2:30 p.m. in the History Branch of the Cleveland Public Library. A newly discovered 1969 film entitled “The Cleveland State Story” will be screened and Dr. Spencer Culbreth, former vice president of Academic Affairs and dean of Humanities and Social Sciences for Cleveland State, will present his recent research on the college.

Dancing for a Cure, which will benefit Bradley County Relay for Life, will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m. at the Lee University Conn Center.

A meeting of the Bradley County Governmental Law Library committee will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 9 a.m. in the office of the director of the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library, 795 Church St. N.E.
